Darlene S9 March 2024Sobering It was very informative to learn the history of the island which involved more than the widely known history as the prison of Nelson Mandela. It was very sobering to view the place that imprisoned people simply because they wanted the same freedoms that had been their lifestyle before Apartheid. Jama was our guide and he gave us many details of the prison. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Capetown
Susan K1 March 2024360 degrees turning cable car sets the stage Wonderful place to explore. Just note, the cable car does not always run, as high winds effect whether it will run or not.

Simone A4 February 2024Visita recomendada Robben Island O motorista do drop on drop off foi muito gentil e muito simpático, o cruzeiro até a ilha foi muito bom, não gostamos do ônibus que circulou no antigo presídio, muito apertado estava muito quente o dia e estávamos em 03 num banco que cabem duas pessoas, os guias do passeio muito bons! Especialmente o que fez o trajeto andando e mostrando as celas. Recomendo o passeio.
LaraA28 January 2024Excellent! My pick up person was lovely. He stayed with us until we went through the ferry check-in point. He was waiting to take me back to my hotel at the end, even when the ferry was late in getting back to Cape Town. The Robben Island experience was poignant and emotional, and it was worthwhile going. Our tour guides were excellent!
